Training
Union Avoidance Seminars - Carolinas AGC, in cooperation with its labor relation attorneys, conducts
Union Avoidance seminars throughout the Carolinas. These seminars are designed to apprise a contractor's supervisory personnel of signs that may indicate developing union problems and how to react. Also discussed are measures a contractor can take to discourage organizing activities at the outset.

Craftworker Training - Carolinas AGC is an active partner with the
National Center for Construction Education and Research. This partnership provides members of Carolinas AGC with the opportunity to participate in the nation's premier open shop craftworker training courses.
National Labor Relations
Carolinas AGC members, through their membership in
National AGC, have access to numerous open shop publications. In addition, National AGC monitors legislative and regulatory activities at the Federal level to assure that the open shop contractor's rights are preserved.
