On-demand Options
Carolinas AGC is happy to work to provide a wide range of "on-demand" educational opportunities. If we have commitments from at least five individuals in a local area, we will take the initiative to “recruit” additional attendees to reach the minimum number per offering.
Members may either request additional dates for events already on the Annual Training Calendar, or request any of the following offerings:
OSHA Forklift Safety: Train the Trainer - For companies that use powered industrial trucks (pallet trucks, rider trucks, fork trucks or lift trucks.)

OSHA Scissor Lift: Train the Trainer - Prepare in-company trainers to conduct classes for your employees with your brands, makes, and models of scissor lifts.

Work Zone Safety: Train the Trainer - Planning, installing, monitoring, and modifying and removing traffic control devices.

Managing Risk at the Bid Table - How to identify, in the estimating stage, common factors that losing projects share and either account for them in the estimate or simply “no bid” the project.

Communication Strategies for Executives and Administrative Assistants - Hands-on practice in identifying others’ listening and presentation styles. Both the executive and the administrative assistant need to attend and work with one another. Length: 1 day.
Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery - Steps to effectively manage a crisis, including how to deal with hostile media, as well as key recovery elements.

Employee Fraud: Misconceptions, Facts and Prevention - Learn what you can do to protect your company from becoming a victim of employee fraud, also referred to as internal fraud, or occupational crime.

Good Relations Between General Contractors and Subcontractors - This seminar will review the risk allocation possibilities between general contractors and subcontractors and explore their rights and responsibilities so they can control their exposure and liabilities by understanding the different perspectives.
