It is committed to developing and maintaining a training process that is internationally recognized, standardized, portable, and competency-based. NCCER provides standardized construction education materials, the
Contren™ Learning Series, and a system for tracking and recognizing students’ training accomplishments, NCCER’s National Registry. NCCER also offers accreditation, instructor certification, and skills assessments.
Carolinas AGC Accreditation through NCCER
Carolinas AGC is one of the 325 training facilities in 50 states and eight countries to be an Accredited Training Sponsor of NCCER. NCCER’s accreditation process assures that students receive quality training based on uniform standards and criteria.
The Contren™ Learning Series curricula are written to an eighth-grade reading level. Offering both perfect-bound and modular formats permits a school to customize its construction program on either a straight craft track or on a general track.
The Center's National Registry allows craft instructors to become Certified Instructors through Carolinas AGC. Those Instructors are then able to register all students through the Registry. The National Registry provides the academic path and national portability for young people to develop their future construction career. Portability allows students to transfer from state to state.
